Das EFX is a hip-hop duo consisting of Andre Weston aka Drayz (born November 2, 1970, in Teaneck, New Jersey) and Willie Hines aka Skoob (born November 27, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York). The two met while attending Virginia State University and formed the group during their college years.
Their breakthrough came after placing second in a talent show judged by Parrish Smith of EPMD, who later signed them to the Hit Squad (2) collective.
