This is a raw jadeite specimen from Itoigawa, the source of Japan’s national stone. It is a high-quality piece mined many years ago. Unlike typical Itoigawa jade, this piece features excellent translucency and clearly visible crystal structures. It is what’s known as "compressed jadeite," characterized by its distinct, grape-like (botryoidal) patterns. It has a flat, plate-like shape measuring approximately 6.5 x 6 x 1.5 cm. While jade can still be found along the coasts and mountains of Itoigawa today, specimens of this quality are rare. Don’t miss this opportunity to add this exceptional piece to your collection.
